HIBA EL AIDI

Hiba El Aidi is the founder of Morocco With Purpose. Hiba immigrated with her family to Canada when she was six years old, and from a very young age she was always on, passionate and forward-thinking. She began her social commitment at the age of 11 by working with a Canadian-Moroccan association to help young people in the Atlas of Morocco through the purchase of school bags and school materials. Hiba has always been passionate about public speaking and has always loved school, as well as music, singing, dancing, and drama. She has also visited more than 19 countries, notably during her university exchange at the INSTITUT sciences po Aix-en-Provence.

A law graduate from the University of Montreal, she is currently pursuing her training at the École du Barreau du Québec. Her ambition is to pursue a career as a lawyer with a penchant for international law and international relations. Her passion for humanitarian trips and international simulations inspires her to want to help women and minorities by using her expertise in law. Hiba has always had an attachment to Morocco, and during her secondary studies, she organized an event to highlight Moroccan culture and raise funds for women with cancer in Quebec and underprivileged children in Morocco. It was a brilliant way to underline his attachment to his two countries: Canada, his host country and his native Morocco.

Founder of Morocco With Purpose

With a significant presence on social networks, Hiba is also an educational content creator on Instagram, accumulating more than 58K followers. His passion for meeting others and promoting youth, served him to animate the program "Chabab" on radio M FM for more than 5 years. She is very involved in the Moroccan diaspora in Montreal, where she is often called upon to be mistress of ceremonies for cultural and social events focused on living together, art and dialogue.

Hiba is a jack of all trades, comparable to a chameleon, able to speak French, English, Spanish and Arabic. She likes to do everything, ranging from journalism, where she did an internship at the SNRT in Rabat, to law, through music, dance and social entrepreneurship. Hiba strongly believes in the voice of young people and their power to create positive change. She is inspiring and determined to use her skills and passion to help others around the world.
